" I researched all small wind turbines and the R9000 seemed miles ahead of the others. We expect to reduce our energy bills by 50%. "
Evance Wind Turbines formerly Iskra Wind Turbines
Evance Wind Turbines was originally established as Iskra Wind Turbines Ltd in 2000 by a team of engineers, who had experience in developing large scale wind turbines.
The company’s first mass-market product was the Iskra AT5 small wind turbine which was launched in 2004.
Following the success of the Iskra AT5 the company grew, taking on business, sales and production experts, and establishing a facility in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
After rebranding as Evance in 2009 the company launched the next generation of small wind turbine, the Evance R9000. This 5kW turbine, which was the result of 12 years of dedicated research and development, made significant advances in efficiency, reliability, durability, corrosion resistance, and reduced installation time and cost.
The Evance team has developed patented technologies, such as the blade pitching system, and continues its research to pioneer the production of exceptional small wind turbines.
